WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center (WVMCC) is set to host its biggest fundraiser of the year, A Night at the Museum, on Saturday, September 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. This exclusive event offers a unique opportunity for the community to engage with the museum in a fun and interactive way while supporting its mission-driven programs.
Guests will enjoy award-winning wines, craft spirits, gourmet food, and live entertainment. The event will feature drinks from local producers such as Armour Wines, Watermill Winery, Norwood Wine Bar, Silver Bell Winery, Neu Flessenow Cellars, Silvara Cellars, Blue Spirits Distillery, and Set the Bar. Food offerings include bites from Szmania’s Catering and desserts and grazing boards from Cafe Columbia, which include a selection of fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, nuts, and spreads.
The evening will also showcase live music performances by the Welter Brothers, Deep Green Sea, and the Jazz Jam Quintet. Magic and comedy will be provided by Jason Sims, a local magician and comedian. Additionally, guests will witness live oil painting by award-winning artist Henry Stinson, with the finished piece available for silent auction. Floral bouquets from Fable Books + Blooms will also be up for bidding.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the museum's programs, including featured exhibits, robotics clubs, field trips, student scholarships, cultural events, and collection restorations. Tickets for the event are $75 for members and $90 for non-members. Patrons must be 21 or older, and pre-registration is required. Tickets include sample tokens and unlimited food, with additional wine, beer, and spirit purchases benefiting the museum.
