Wenatchee School District postpones Loop Trail Arts Festival

WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee School District has postponed its districtwide Arts Festival that had been scheduled for Friday, May 15, at landmarks along the Apple Capital Loop Trail.

In a notice sent Thursday, the district said forecasted low evening temperatures could damage sensitive string and woodwind instruments, prompting organizers to reschedule the outdoor event.

The festival had been planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. along the trail and was set to feature student music and art performances from across the district.

A new date has not yet been announced. The district said updated scheduling information will be shared once confirmed.
