U.S. Highway 2 guardrail repairs to cause lane closures near Leavenworth

LEAVENWORTH — Travelers on U.S. Highway 2 between Leavenworth and Coles Corner will encounter single-lane closures Sept. 8-11 as Washington State Department of Transportation crews repair guardrail damaged during winter storms.

The work will take place between mileposts 85 and 99. Traffic will be controlled by automatic flaggers from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

WSDOT said the guardrail was damaged during storms in the winter of 2025-26.
