WENATCHEE — A free transportation service for winter sports enthusiasts heading to Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort will launch on November 23, coinciding with the resort's opening day for the season.
The SkiLink shuttle service will operate six round trips on weekends, departing from Columbia Station at 6:55, 8:15, 9:35, and 11:00 a.m., with afternoon departures at 12:45, 2:15, and 3:45 p.m. The service includes stops at Lincoln Park approximately seven minutes after each Columbia Station departure.
Riders have multiple parking options available. While Columbia Station offers limited parking, additional lots are located at the intersection of Methow Street and Crawford, across from Lincoln Park Baptist Church on Crawford Street, and at Mission Street and Parkway.
The service will operate weekends only through December 16 before expanding to daily operations from December 17 through December 31, except for Christmas Day. After the holiday break, service will return to weekends and holidays only. Beginning January 3, Friday afternoon and evening service will be added through February.
All skiers and snowboarders may ride SkiLink for no cost.
