WENATCHEE — Registration is open for the 2026 Professional Mediation Training offered by the Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center.

The training is offered twice a year and is designed to provide participants with tools related to mediation, communication and conflict resolution. According to the organization, the curriculum includes hands-on practice and instruction in mediation frameworks intended for use in workplaces, families, classrooms and community settings.

WVDRC states that participants in its Professional Mediation Training report improvements in listening, communication and problem-solving skills following completion of the course.

The training is intended for individuals seeking to become certified volunteer mediators with WVDRC, as well as those interested in managing conflict in professional or personal settings. The organization says the course may be relevant for people working in human resources, education, counseling, law, social services and leadership roles.

Group discounts are available for three or more individuals from the same organization, nonprofit staff or volunteers, and individuals with household incomes below 300% of the federal poverty level. The training is approved for educator clock hours.

The March session will be held March 17 and 19, and March 24 through 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The June session is scheduled for June 22 through 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional information and registration details are available at wvdrc.org/events or by calling 509-888-0957.
