Lake Chelan Health Guild B raises $55,500 for EMS search and rescue UTV

CHELAN — Lake Chelan Health Guild B announced the success of its 2025 “Paint the Town Pink – Reach the Unreachable” fundraiser, raising $55,500 to fully fund the purchase of a new EMS Search and Rescue UTV.

The specialized vehicle will improve emergency response capabilities in remote and rugged areas, helping EMS teams reach patients more quickly and safely. The total includes a matching gift from an anonymous friend of the hospital, doubling the impact of community contributions.

“In moments of crisis, minutes matter,” said Guild B President Mary Lou Schoolcraft. “This UTV represents our community’s commitment to readiness, compassion, and care that reaches beyond the paved road.”

Guild B thanked all donors, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to the campaign.
