WENATCHEE — Downtown Wenatchee will open the holiday season with an afternoon of regional wines, shopping and seasonal activities during the annual Holiday Open House & Wine Walk on Nov. 14.
The event will run from noon to 5 p.m., with 21 downtown businesses transformed into pop-up tasting rooms featuring regional wineries. Participants can follow the route at their own pace while visiting local shops, decorated storefronts and special in-store promotions.
“The Wine Walk is such a fun way to welcome the holiday season downtown,” Wenatchee Downtown Association Executive Director Rosa Pulido said. “You get to explore our shops, discover businesses you may not have visited before and enjoy some incredible regional wines along the way.”
Tickets cost $50 and include 12 wine tastings and a commemorative glass. Check-in will be held at Mercantile. Participants must be 21 or older to take part in the wine tasting.
The Holiday Open House portion of the event also encourages visitors to begin their seasonal shopping at downtown businesses, whether or not they participate in the Wine Walk.
“More than anything, it’s an opportunity to spend the day downtown and support the local businesses that make our community special,” Pulido said.
Advance tickets are available at downtownwenatchee.org/purchase/p/holiday-open-house-wine-walk. A limited number will also be available on the day of the event.
The Holiday Open House & Wine Walk is organized by the Wenatchee Downtown Association with sponsorship from Peoples Bank.
