Foundation donates $50K to Lake Chelan Health for medical equipment

CHELAN – The Lake Chelan Health and Wellness Foundation recently awarded the Lake Chelan Health Hospital more than $50,000.

The funds, raised by the Lake Chelan Health Guild B will be used for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital and clinic.

The checks totalling $50,565.50 were presented to Lake Chelan Health Hospital CEO Aaron Edwards and COO Shawn Ottley.

Lake Chelan Health Guild B works to support the greater Chelan community and healthcare providers by raising funds from private donors and members to purchase major medical equipment and address specific hospital needs.

The Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation made promoting wellness throughout the Lake Chelan Valley a key part of its strategic plan. Through partnerships with schools, community organizations, businesses, and individual donors, the Foundation supports impactful wellness programs that reflect the community’s collective commitment to better health.

Formerly known as the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation, the organization has served the region since 1981 with a strong focus on fiscal responsibility and responsiveness to local health needs. The Foundation manages a variety of donor contributions, including bequests, endowments, and an annual giving campaign. Each year, it provides scholarships to local students and caregivers pursuing education, and helps fund hospital equipment upgrades to improve patient care.
