CVCH hosts annual Back to School Health Fair August 9 in East Wenatchee

EAST WENATCHEE — Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) has announced the return of its annual Back to School Health Fair, taking place on August 9. It is a free community event designed to prepare students for a healthy and successful academic year.

You can join the staff at CVCH on Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 980 Eastmont Ave in East Wenatchee, the site of the new CVCH Behavioral Health Building. No registration is required — just come and be part of their festive back-to-school celebration!

Families can take advantage of valuable services and resources, including:

• Free backpacks and school supplies for students in grades K-12 (1,000 available, first-come, first-served)
• Sports physicals
• School-required immunizations
• Free haircuts for all schoolchildren, performed by Cutting Edge Barber Shop
• Valuable community resource access

“We’re proud to support local families and help ensure students have everything they need for a great school year,” said Dulce Negrete, Clinic Manager at CVCH. “This event is about health, confidence, and community.”
