Chelan PUD adds 24-hour bill pay kiosk at Plaza Super Jet

WENATCHEE — Chelan County PUD customers can now take care of their utility bill while picking up groceries or stopping for coffee, thanks to a new self-service kiosk installed at Plaza Super Jet at 106 Okanogan Avenue.

The bright blue kiosk, located on the Orondo Avenue side of the storefront where the video rental kiosk used to be, offers 24-hour access for customers who prefer to pay their bill in person rather than online. Payments can be made by cash, check, debit, or credit card, and receipts are printed immediately.

“This is a service for customers who prefer the security and comfort of paying their bill in person,” said Customer Relations Supervisor Jeanine Porter. “It’s convenient, and easy to use.”

To make a payment, customers simply enter their account number and ZIP code, select a payment type, and choose the amount they wish to pay. Any overpayment is automatically applied to the next bill. Instructions are available in both English and Spanish.

The new kiosk joins others at the PUD’s Leavenworth office, 222 Chumstick Highway, and the Chelan office, 1034 E. Woodin Ave. Customers can also use payment drop boxes, pay by phone, or visit the Service Center at Olds Station for in-person assistance. Online payments remain available anytime at chelanpud.org, giving customers a range of options to manage their account in the way that suits them best.
