Chelan Bay Marina celebrates Grand Opening with “Sip & Surf” event July 19

CHELAN — Chelan Bay Marina by Seattle Boat Company, a new full-service boating facility at 101 Bass Lane on Lake Chelan, officially opened on July 1. This new destination offers boat rentals, sales, moorage, and a pro shop for boaters and visitors.

To celebrate, the community is invited to a free Grand Opening "Sip & Surf" event on July 19 from 12:30–8:00 p.m. The Saturday event will begin with wake surfing and boat demo sessions from 12:30–5:00 p.m. Guests can reserve one-hour demo slots for up to four participants at a time, hitting the water in cutting-edge Nautique G25 Paragon and Cobalt R4 Surf boats. From 5:00–8:00 p.m., the celebration continues with live music, local wine tastings, and lakeside food offerings from local vendors. Anchored by 290 feet of scenic waterfront in the heart of town, Chelan Bay Marina is designed as a new amenity for both residents and visitors who appreciate the lake lifestyle. The facility provides daily and multi-day rentals of high-end Cobalt and Nautique boats, temporary moorage for visiting boaters, new and pre-owned Cobalt and Malibu boats for sale and a pro shop stocked with watersports gear. A permanent on-site facility is planned for construction in 2026.
