Apple Cup Charity Golf Tournament to support local scholarships, high school golf teams

CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Men’s Golf Association will sponsor the 2025 Apple Cup Charity Golf Tournament on July 19-20 at Chelan Golf Course, with proceeds designated to fund scholarships and support the boys and girls golf teams at Chelan and Manson high schools.

The tournament, founded by the association established in 1954, continues its tradition of community support through golf. Organizers said the 2024 tournament was a major success, raising enough to award $12,000 in student scholarships.

The 2025 Apple Cup Charity Tournament will feature a two-man team format at a cost of $340 per team. Events will include three team award divisions, a putting contest, a horse race, and closest-to-the-pin competitions.
