Lake Chelan Rotary Club prepares for centennial celebration in 2026

CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Rotary Club is preparing to mark its 100th anniversary in 2026 and is asking the community to help preserve its legacy by sharing stories and photographs.

Founded in 1926, the club has spent the past century bringing together community leaders dedicated to service, fellowship and projects that have shaped the Chelan Valley and beyond.

As part of the centennial, residents are invited to submit memories of Rotarians who served with distinction, photographs of club gatherings, or images of projects that made a lasting impact. Submissions can be made through the club’s website, LakeChelanRotary.org, or by completing a Google Form. The deadline is Nov. 1.

“These stories and photos are not just about Rotary—they are about our valley, our neighbors, and the legacy of service that has shaped Chelan for generations,” said Guy Evans, centennial project coordinator.
