Donna Joyce Tarver passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of Tuesday, May 28th.
Donna grew up in the Cashmere Valley where her parents Howard and Dora (Dode) Balsdon owned and operated an apple orchard. Donna spent some years living in the Seattle area where she raised her two boys, Kirk and Craig Bourgault. Donna then moved back to the Wenatchee Valley to help care for aging parents and spend time near her grandchildren.
For the last 20+ years, Donna enjoyed living in the Shelton area making friends locally and caring for her cats, which were always important to her. Her closest neighbors Bear and Deb Cannon have been a wonderful support over the last few years. Because of their assistance Donna was able to spend her last few months at their home thanks to their care.
Donna is survived by her son Craig and three grandchildren.
A small group of family and friends will gather to spread her ashes in the Shelton area.
