Bluegrass band The Lonesome Town Painters to perform in Cashmere

CASHMERE -- Cashmere Community Concerts will host The Lonesome Town Painters, a bluegrass band from Vancouver, British Columbia, on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 pm.

The event will take place at the Cashmere Community Church, 213 S Division St., where Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The Lonesome Town Painters perform traditional bluegrass music featuring lead singing and harmonies. The band's repertoire includes original songs crafted in the bluegrass tradition, with themes ranging from love and heartache to prison and gospel.

Band members are Patrick Bartel on banjo and vocals, Jeremy Freeman on mandolin and vocals, Fred Beach on guitar and vocals, and Angelo Eidse on bass and vocals.

Cashmere Community Concerts, a non-profit organization, provides live, affordable entertainment to the Wenatchee Valley. A cover charge of $5.00 per person at the door will help cover expenses. Refreshments will be provided.

The musicians will be paid through a one-time "Hat Pass," with a suggested donation of $8 to $15 per person.

The concert will take place in an alcohol-free environment with concert seating.
